Our bowling complex offers two wonderfully manicured greens and surrounds with panoramic mountain views.
We are situated in the Byron shire and are a part of the Tweed / Byron district bowls association.
On the bowls front we have a very harmonious group of members who over the years have enjoyed some great success.
In 2004 our club won a division 4 state flag
In 2018 we then won a division 2 state flag
We now are the only club in the district to have won not one but now two state flags
Our Club also caters for Social and Junior bowlers. Beginners are also very welcome with coaching and loan bowls provided free of charge.
As we are only 90 minutes from Brisbane and 30 minutes from the Gold Coast, Business and Sporting Social Clubs regularly visit us. Packages can be arranged for day or weekend club visits. There are motels and caravan parks in close proximity to our Club thus providing delightful opportunities to spend some time in the area.
All visitors are welcome on any bowls day with the Men & Women or if you just wish to have a social game with family and friends.
The club has accredited Coaches who conduct individual and group coaching clinics for experienced, novice and prospective bowlers.
The Ocean Shores Women’s Bowls Club welcomes you to join them for a game of bowls. They are a very friendly group and their playing days Friday mornings.
Friday bowls commences at 9 a.m. Names for this event are to be either phoned into the Pro Shop on 02 6680 1008 or entered online 1 hour before playing.
Come along and have an enjoyable time with us.
We would certainly welcome you and we’re sure you will have an enjoyable time.
The Mens Bowls Club welcomes members, whether you just want a social game or compete in Club Championships and Pennants.
Our bowls days are Monday at 12.30 pm, Mufti (Casual Dress) and Saturday (1pm) Mixed Mufti.
In 2020 the Club hopes to field Pennant teams in Grade 2, 4, 6 & 7 – 2 Teams
